AWAMN Signed Institutional Partnership with Messe München GmbH, Germany.

IFAT Africa – A leading tradefair & conference for water, sewage, Refuse/Waste Management and recycling on the continent of Africa. July 7th – 14th, 2025.

The Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria (AWAMN) under the leadership of its National President Mr. Olugbenga Adebola has again signed an Institutional Partnership with Messe München GmbH, Germany. The organisers have demostrated considerable expertise in organising International Environmental Technology Tradefairs & Conferences with the world’s leading Tradefair – IFAT Munich, Germany as its flagship. It also organises other international events including IE expo China in Shanghai, IE expo Chengdu in Chengdu, IE expo Guangzhou in Guangzhou, IE expo Shenzhen in Shenzhen, IFAT Eurosia in Istanbul, IFAT India in Mumbai, IFAT Delhi in New Delhi, IFAT Brasil in Sao Paulo and so many other events globally.

The Association through the National President who is also a member of the Advisory Board of IFAT Africa is coordinating an official delegation of professionals and stakeholders from Nigeria and other West African countries to attend and participate in this year’s event in Johannesburg, South Africa.
This will foster knowledge exchange, International cooperation, collaboration and partnerships, business development in the areas of Integrated waste management, & Circular Economy, Sewage and Water Resources Management.

Participants will also join a dedicated AWAMN plenary session themed: Unlocking sustainable waste management models in Nigeria through Circular Economy – This provides an opportunity for State Governments, Federal Ministries Department & Agencies to present investment opportunities in their various localities to international investors, Funding Organizations, Original Equipment Manufacturers etc.

The Association is delighted to be part of the Association Partners in recognition of the Pivotal role it plays in Integrated Waste Management Sector in Nigeria. Members and other interested Nigerians are therefore invited to register and attend this high level International exhibition & conference as part of Capacity Development, Exposure, Exploration of Newer technologies & Innovations and investments within Waste, Sewage and Water Management.
